Rest is not a luxury, it's a lifeline
Our experienced professionals provide a safe environment for your young person, allowing you to take time away from home without guilt, and with confidence, knowing they are supported with care, empathy and expertise.

Our Mission
Care you can trust, rest you deserve...
We know how difficult it can be to look after a young person who is struggling with mental health difficulties, especially if this includes self harming behaviours or disordered eating.
When was the last time you felt safe and able to leave your young person in someone else's care so that you could attend to your own needs? Whether that looks like attending an appointment, or going to an exercise class, or spending time with your other children without their needs taking a back seat? What about reconnecting with your spouse or social support network? What would it be like to be able to step away, without guilt, knowing your loved one is safe and sound at home?
At Rest to Reset we will ensure your loved one is safe and supported by specialists, in order to provide you and your family with the space you need to recharge your batteries and look after your own mental health so you have the energy you need to nurture yourself and your family.
What We Do...
We provide individualised companionship for your young person at home, making sure they feel are safe and supported. Our specialist sitters will spend time getting to know your young person, and collaborating together to find the best way to support them. Whether that is through de escalation from intrusive thoughts, self harm behaviours, or over exercising, or simple companionship through distractions like games or meaningful conversation. Our specialist sitters have the skills your loved one needs to feel safe, cared for and empowered. Meal support may be included for young people with eating disorders.

Person Centred
Person centred means that we will collaborate with you and your young person to find out what your needs are and how their/your histories may impact how we deliver support.
We will involve you both in every step of the process.

Behaviour support
We know that people use behaviours as a means of communication, and they don't happen for no reason!
Basically, we're always looking for the reason behind the behaviour and trying to support effective communication between everyone involved.
What Parents Say
We can honestly say she has never received better care from any healthcare professional in her life, and she has seen a huge number over the years. We would have absolutely no reservations in recommending these lovely humans and giving them the highest honour a parent can bestow by allowing them to look after our most precious loved one...
They provided her with a safe, positive, consistent and enriching experience every day. Their communication with us as parents was friendly, professional and extremely well informed. The team always did their best to include any other family member that was there...and made them feel like they were important too...
To leave your child with anyone is extremely difficult but when there are additional needs or challenging behaviours it's almost impossible to believe that they can be cared for as well as you would care for them yourselves, but this is the closest you can come.
